Dear Down Home Friends,

Each year at Down Home has revealed something powerful—what God can do through simple obedience. Because of you, more men, women, and children are not just receiving furnishings for a home, but stepping into stability, dignity, and a renewed sense of belonging. What began as a mustard seed has grown into a mission that is restoring lives and strengthening our community in deeply meaningful ways.

Now, after eight years of measurable impact, we sense a clear and compelling invitation: it’s time to lift our eyes beyond what has been—and step into what could be.

The need we see here is not unique to our community. Across our region and nation, families are navigating the difficult journey out of homelessness, longing for both practical support and lasting hope. And what we’ve witnessed together is this: Down Home is not just meeting a need—it is offering a model. A model that works. A model that restores. A model that can be multiplied.

As we look ahead, we are prayerfully discerning what it means to bring this mission beyond our current walls and into neighboring communities across our region. Communities where the need is real, where relationships are ready to be built, and where the same dignity-filled approach can take root and flourish. We believe expansion is not just about reaching more people—it’s about multiplying hope, activating local leaders, and inviting new communities into this story of transformation.

We don’t take this step lightly. We are listening closely, moving strategically and prayerfully, and trusting that the Lord will continue to reveal each next step in His perfect timing.

For now, we simply invite you to lean in with us.
